I met this charming West Side couple at the Civic Center in Scottsdale for pre-wedding portraits.

They were getting married at the courthouse but still wanted fabulous engagement-style  portraits to remember the day. They’re super sweet, so very much in love, and they made my job so easy.

They celebrated the big event at a small Brazilian restaurant with family and close friends and I can’t wait to show them the rest of their images !

You guys have been so patient and I **so** appreciate it!  I’m working feverishly (still!) to get all the sessions from Cincinnati previewed and proofed !  There were SO many gorgeous kids, families, babies, seniors, etc…. here’s a small sampling of what I’ve got previewed so far… more to come, I promise, I promise!  :-)

Previewing another session from my marathon-shoot in Cincinnati a few weeks ago… these girls were beautiful, and ready to pose for the camera!  A photographer’s dream come true – they were fun, sassy, and adorable!  Just one preview for now as I work up a few more to share…..

Another amazing family…. another rainy day in Cincinnati!  I had the pleasure of photographing Lora’s family again… this time in downtown Cincinnati!  She paid close attention to our conversation on “what to wear” and with the help of her awesome hubby….. came up with a wonderful look for the whole family… fun, colorful, but not too busy!  Downtown was the perfect venue for this urban chic family session!

It’s no secret to my clients that I’m “nacho” average girl. No, really… please stop laughing. It’s true. But maybe you didn’t realize that one of my absolute favorite foods is – NACHOS! I like them spicy and mild, piled high and simple, Mexican style and other.

I’m really looking forward to learning about nachos Phoenix-style so if any of you Phoenix peeps have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them!

I’ve had the honor of photographing the Z family for about 4 years now – have been thrilled and delighted to photograph their two children as newborns, chubby smiling babies, and now gorgeous little PEOPLE!  Actual people!  Tonight’s photo shoot was just so much FUN!

I chased these little ones around and we giggled, laughed, danced, and played with chalk… I had to open a FEW previews to share because I was too excited knowing how gorgeous these kids are! (It’s a photographer thing, I think – you get great images, opening and viewing them is kind of like being a kid in a candy store… )

So without any further rambling… here are two of the most gorgeous kids …..

When Mom calls for a session, I know I’m in for a treat. I’ve been photographing this spunky brother/sister pair for a while now and they’re absolutely adorable. Full of spirit, great smiles, lots of expression, which makes for a fun session and yes, it wears us out — but boy is is worth it! Mom is downright awesome with a keen eye for dressing the kidlets nicely and we always have a good laugh over the antics of these two.

Yesterday I got to photograph awesome  siblings in one of my favorite locations, Heritage Village in Sharon Woods, Sharonville. These four kids seem unbelievably close, which I really enjoyed.

Let’s meet these great kids:

Mom did a FABULOUS job on clothing choices with these 2 cuties! I love photographing these boys – they’re always so much fun. Adorable, well behaved, and just all around full of awesomeness.

The first image just begged for a vintage sepia look for the timeless traditional heirloom feel we were going for but this one? This one is screams “I NEED COLOR!” Always listen to what an image hollers for. That’s real portraiture and the mark of a true professional. Tell them Melissa told you so.

And this one… you just can’t help but grin when you see it:

Carmen the Wonder Hostess did it again! Once more, she was the Hostess with the Mostess and put on a fabulous Portrait Party in Anderson for friends to have a little time with Priceless Reflections by Melissa. Just look at some of the adorable shots we got! This image reminds me of something straight out of a storybook. I keep waiting for the faeries to come and whisk Baby away!
