I met this charming West Side couple at the Civic Center in Scottsdale for pre-wedding portraits.

They were getting married at the courthouse but still wanted fabulous engagement-style  portraits to remember the day. They’re super sweet, so very much in love, and they made my job so easy.

They celebrated the big event at a small Brazilian restaurant with family and close friends and I can’t wait to show them the rest of their images !

You guys have been so patient and I **so** appreciate it!  I’m working feverishly (still!) to get all the sessions from Cincinnati previewed and proofed !  There were SO many gorgeous kids, families, babies, seniors, etc…. here’s a small sampling of what I’ve got previewed so far… more to come, I promise, I promise!  :-)

Previewing another session from my marathon-shoot in Cincinnati a few weeks ago… these girls were beautiful, and ready to pose for the camera!  A photographer’s dream come true – they were fun, sassy, and adorable!  Just one preview for now as I work up a few more to share…..

Another amazing family…. another rainy day in Cincinnati!  I had the pleasure of photographing Lora’s family again… this time in downtown Cincinnati!  She paid close attention to our conversation on “what to wear” and with the help of her awesome hubby….. came up with a wonderful look for the whole family… fun, colorful, but not too busy!  Downtown was the perfect venue for this urban chic family session!

And now, continuing with some previews from my jam-packed week in Ohio last week, here’s one of my favoritest, cutest, most adorablest toddlers of all time!  I’ve been photographing this cutie since she was just a few weeks old…. and now look at her!  So beautiful and full of energy and sass! I love her strong sense of self (already, at age 2!!!) and her love of shoes and hair accessories!

Double the fun!  That was the motto for this adorable family!  Mom and dad coult not have been any cuter and the twins… oh BOY!  So content and even smiling at the ripe old age of 2 weeks old!  Just a few sneak previews to enjoy while I am proofing the next session up in the queue.

Meet the gorgeous Deanna, a Mason High School senior, who’s into golf and dance and great clothes and looking natural in front of my camera. Just look at the smile and this sunbeam -

We shot Deanna’s session in Middletown and Mason, and including this sunflower field in absolutely perfect light.

When you’re as comfortable (and adorable!)  during your session as Deanna was, and chose great clothes, how can you possibly go wrong?

Laura and I have been friends since I moved here to Cincinnati, back in ‘01… when her middle son was just a baby…. and my 2nd son was about the same age… and now they are 7, going on 14… and we’ve since had more kids, etc…. I’ve had the pleasure of shooting this family for so many years, and have watched these kids grow into really COOOOOL kids.

We had the joy of shooting this session in the HEAT of the day – it must have been 200` in the shade (I exaggerate just slightly here)…. and by the time we were done shooting, I think we were all soaked from head to toe and in need of a shower….. but…. we did get some FUN photos…..

And before I share… a big shout-out to Laura’s husband, Mark……. Mark is a local hero.  He served in Iraq for at least a year… (maybe longer? I can’t remember…..but I bet Laura does…)… and was away from his beautiful children.  I remember he didn’t get home from his deployment until March… and Laura had left the family Christmas tree up so they could celebrate….. not sure why that has stuck in my mind all these years….but it has… and I thought I’d take this opportunity to tell Laura how much her friendship means to me, and to tell Mark THANK YOU for his service to our country…. just some way-cool-peeps!

This last one makes me laugh — I had asked them to sit close to each other for a shot — and the boys immediately go into “bunny ears” mode with their little sister…. it happens all.the.time and I think it’s so cute…so of course I had to snap one…..
